Being a U.S.A. state certified teacher I am allowed by law of the Virginia State Department of Education to conduct homeschool annual educational evaluations for students in VA. With samples of the home school work, scanned or photographed, attached to an email, and emailed to me I am able to conduct the annual homeschool evaluation required by Virginia state home education laws, send and complete the evaluation very quickly. If you would like to mail the samples through the U.S. postal service, that is fine, and commonly done also. It takes a couple days longer, though it is still quick and simple.<\/p>\n

The following is copied and pasted from the VA home Education statute (law):<\/p>\n

C. The parent who elects to provide home instruction shall provide the division superintendent by August 1 following the school year in which the child has received home instruction with either <\/strong>(i) evidence that the child has attained a composite score in or above the fourth stanine on any nationally normed standardized achievement test or <\/strong>(ii) an evaluation or assessment which the division superintendent determines to indicate that the child is achieving an adequate level of educational growth and progress, including but not limited to: (a) an evaluation letter from a person licensed to teach in any state<\/strong>, or a person with a master’s degree or higher in an academic discipline, having knowledge of the child’s academic progress, stating that the child is achieving an adequate level of educational growth and progress; or <\/strong>(b) a report card or transcript from a community college or college, college distance learning program, or home-education correspondence school.<\/p>\n
