Actually, the student does not understand many assignments because the teacher has not explained the assignments in a clear, concise, and comprehensible way, or the student is not interested in the teacher’s limited and/or offensive methods. Many times the child is just bored. The child is often finished with the assignment completely, or as well they understand it. Does the “teacher” take time to understand the child, their needs, their personality, their character and their learning styles? My experience over the last 20 years as a professional educator, in public and private schools; NO! The “teacher” does not take an objective, personal interest in every student, or not most of them.

A real effective and productive teacher is patient and kind, nurturing and loving, forgiving and understanding, striving to learn new things everyday themselves. An effective and respected teacher is a problem solver, and (s)he demonstrates these desires, habits and traits to their students daily and consistently. It is part of a true “teacher’s” nature.

For simple & true answers to homeschooling in Florida, & also for annual evaluations done easily, NO stress at a reasonable fee, I am a FL Department of Education certified teacher/evaluator. Please email me anytime: CCTucker7@gmail.com OR call/text: (786)525-3545 – cell C. Curtis Tucker

My professional, and personal opinion after 50 years in the academic “world,” as a child and grand child of professional classroom teachers and university professors, and as a classroom teacher in 3 different continents in a couple of international schools, a Montessori school, a couple of public schools, and even a private parochial school, as well as a “handicapped” summer school; my opinion is that most often, in the very common, above described scenario, the teacher is most often the one that needs to be tested on their classroom management skills, child development knowledge level, and their knowledge level of the subject content, etc. Many times the teacher’s personality compatibility and/or diversity with different cultures, races, personalities and/or even the opposite gender, is so skewed and prejudicial, the “teacher” cannot see the student’s potentials because of their own biases.

A real teacher is able to interest the majority of the children in their class and address each child’s needs, and yes, even entertain the students to a certain extent. If they are not able to hold the students’ attention and inspire learning then they are either in the wrong subject area, or the wrong profession! Most of these teachers cannot handle more than 3 students in the same area at the same time, period! Most of us would NOT even hire them as a baby sitter!!

There are some excellent teachers and coaches doing wonderful work leading, challenging and inspiring children to learn and to excel in their academic studies. The few exceptional adults hanging on to their teaching jobs with dedication and excellence are to be rewarded however we can. In my experience the majority of the effective and productive teachers seem to have been driven out, quit or not even hired.

Help your children, help your family, help our neighborhoods, communities and country, PLEASE, educate your children at home and do NOT send them to these lame institutions full of many horrible baby sitters!!

http://www.homeschool-evaluations.com

Your child will not sit still and (s)he continues to disrupt the entire class.(S)he needs to be tested by a

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[9
187,188,189,89,50,192,151,23,118,190,186,191
post-496","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-faq","tag-add","tag-adhd","tag-attention-deficit-testing","tag-floridahomeschoolhelp","tag-home-school-evaluations","tag-home-school-testing-florida","tag-homeschool-testing-florida","tag-homeschooling-florida","tag-homeschoolinginflorida","tag-hyperactivity-testing","tag-standardized-testing-florida","tag-testing-child-for-attention-deficit-hyperactivity
An evaluation is required.
