Dual Enrollment For Homeschool Students
The public schools are holding our children back from really progressing in their academic studies. Homeschooling is the best way to make sure your children have the best and most opportunities at the best jobs available, or creating their own business. Once your child has reached the high school level studies they may apply for dual enrollment in a state college and some universities, and most often it is tuition free.
When your child is 13 or 14 years old, or older, and progressing with a high school level curriculum, they may be dual enrolled at a Florida State College or university as a registered Florida homeschool high school student. The college will ask for proof of the annual evaluations and also give your child an entrance/placement exam.

Homeschooling enables us to progress our children’s academic lessons as fast as our children are able. Sunshine State Standards do not apply in any way, at all, to a registered homeschool student. Grade levels are irrelevant. Extra curricular activities; music, dance, sports, acting lessons of any kind, field trips, etc. are all up to us as the parents/homeschool/private school director. Our homeschooling children may try out and be on any team, band, etc. with the schools if you like.
Our children, homeschooling students, can graduate whenever they finish their high school level curriculum. We can make the transcripts and have them take whatever standardized tests they need. We can sign them up for taking their college entrance exams, S.A.T. or the A.C.T, in many places.
A homeschool student that I have been doing the annual evaluations for has been accepted at U.C.F as a Sophomore. He was dual enrolled at U.C.F. as a part time freshman, dual enrolled high school junior/senior while he completed the U.C.F. freshman level classes. He completed his senior level high school curriculum and, at the age of 14 years old he was a U.C.F sophomore student.
